Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Milkglass is an app by ALPLUS TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L. ("we"), registered in Romania: CUI 55013997, trade register J2026041446003. Registered address: Bd. Dâmbovița, nr. 60, sc. A, et. 4, ap. 14, Timișoara, Timiș, Romania. Contact: hello@milkglass.app. These terms apply when you use the Milkglass app or the website milkglass.app. Apple's terms for the App Store also apply to your download and your purchases.

2. What Milkglass does

Milkglass keeps photos, videos, and files in encrypted Drawers on your iPhone or iPad. You draw a pattern, and that pattern opens its own Drawer. There is no account, and we run no server for the app.

3. Your content

Your content is yours. It stays on your device, and we cannot see it. You are responsible for what you keep and for having the right to keep it. Do not use Milkglass for content that is illegal where you live. You can share any item out of a Drawer as the original file, and you can delete an item, the content of a Drawer, or its backup in iCloud at any time.

4. Patterns, recovery words, and loss

• When you make a Drawer, the app shows 8 recovery words once. Keep them somewhere safe.
• If you lose both the pattern and the recovery words, the Drawer cannot be opened. We cannot open it, reset it, or recover its content. This is how the app protects you; it is not a fault.
• iCloud backup keeps an encrypted copy in your own iCloud. It is on by default in Free and Pro, and you can turn it off or delete its copy from inside each Drawer. It can pause when there is no connection, no signed-in iCloud account, or no available iCloud space. Items not yet backed up stay only on the device and cannot be restored after its loss. Keep a copy of anything you cannot lose. A new device asks before restoring and taking over the Backup; V1 does not sync edits between devices.

5. Free and Pro

• Free: any number of Drawers, with a limit on the number of photos and videos in each Drawer. The app shows the limit.
• Pro: no limit on photos and videos.
• Pro is sold in two forms: a subscription for one year that renews, or a one-time purchase. The app shows the price for your country before you buy.
• The subscription. A free trial may be offered to new subscribers; the app shows its length. After the trial, and each year after that, your Apple Account is charged the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You cancel in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• If Pro ends, nothing is locked or deleted. You can open, share, and delete everything. You cannot add photos or videos above the Free limit.
• Prices and the Free limit can change for future purchases. A change does not affect a period you have already paid for.

6. Refunds and withdrawal

Apple sells and bills the purchases, so a refund comes from Apple. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong, email us and we will help you with the request.

7. Fair use

Do not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it. Open-source parts are listed in the app under Settings › About › Open-source notices and keep their own licences.

8. What Milkglass does not promise

Milkglass does not hide that it is installed or how much it stores. A person with your unlocked device and its passcode can try patterns. No software is free of faults. We do not promise that the app fits a particular purpose beyond what these terms and the App Store page describe.

9. Liability

If Milkglass fails you, tell us and we will fix it. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Milkglass in the 12 months before the problem, and we are not liable for lost profit or other indirect losses. We are not liable for content that is lost because a pattern and its recovery words were lost, because a device was lost, broken, or erased, or because the app was deleted. Nothing here limits liability that the law says cannot be limited.

10. Privacy

The Privacy Policy at https://milkglass.app/privacy describes what happens to data. In short: we collect none from the app.

11. Changes and ending

If we change something that matters, we will post the new text here with a new date before it takes effect. You can stop at any time: delete the app, and cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings. We can end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Romania, and the Romanian courts decide any dispute. If you have rights under the law of your own country that cannot be signed away, you keep them.
